Kathryn has over 20 years’ experience specialising in Commercial Property. She combines diligence with commercialism and is known for her calm, reassuring approach.
Kathryn qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 with the Sheffield office of international law firm DLA Piper.
She advises and represents property developers, public authorities, investors, businesses and individuals.
She deals with all Commercial Property matters including property acquisitions, disposals, site assembly, options, development agreements and commercial landlord and tenant matters. She also has considerable experience in Residential Conveyancing from freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages to newbuild plot sales.
With significant non-contentious construction experience, Kathryn is also experienced in the drafting and negotiation of construction contracts, advising funders, developers, contractors and sub-contractors, seeing her main role as protecting the client’s interests, tying together the various practical, legal and commercial issues. Project sectors include housing developments, mixed-use, retail and office developments.
Having worked as a Solicitor in the property sector for over 20 years, Kathryn is able to provide a comprehensive service to her clients.

Originally from Matlock in Derbyshire, Kathryn has recently moved to the Isle of Man. An enthusiastic cyclist, having represented Great Britain at national and international level, Kathryn loves all things active from Mountain Biking, to Orienteering and Mud Runs to walking with her defiant Border Terrier, Ruby.
